Systematic analysis of differential rhythmic kidney gene expression

Many reports support a link between circadian rhythm and renal diseases. However, these dysregulated clock-controlled genes in kidney have mainly focused on the protein-coding genes. Here, we try to identify these circadian long-coding RNA (lncRNAs) in renal tissue. Overall design: To obtain the rhythmic gene expression in mouse kidney, we performed RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) with RNA from mouse kidneys collected every 4 h respectively under light/dark (LD) cycle.
