Metagenomes from the Waite pasture rotation

These metagenomes come from archive soils from the Waite Rotation Trial, South Australia. We test two major hypotheses in this study. Firstly, 1) that metabolic functional profiles extracted from incubated bulk soil correlate to measurable proxies of soil function. Secondly, 2) that field management decisions affect aggregate formation and carbon location within the aggregate which then have subsequent effects on soil microbial carbon cycling as observed using substrate induced carbon use efficiency.
