Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) and navigation data collected aboard the R/V F.G. Walton Smith cruise WS17121 in the eastern Gulf of Mexico from 2017-04-30 to 2017-05-09

This dataset reports the underway Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) and navigation data collected aboard the R/V F.G. Walton Smith cruise WS17121 in the eastern Gulf of Mexico from 2017-04-30 to 2017-05-09. The R/V F.G. Walton Smith cruise WS17121 went from Gulfport, MS to Miami, FL to deploy EM-APEX floats and was led by chief scientist Dr. Lynn Shay. ADCP data were measured to determine currents at deployment positions as well as along the cruise track for background conditions. These data are part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) Program (DOI:10.7284/907283).
