资源简介:
Trichogramma japonicum is a commercially available egg parasitoid, holding significant application value for controlling major rice pests Chilo suppressalis and Cnaphalocrocis medinalis. However, the unknown genomic landscape of this species has hindered progress in exploring gene functions to enhance its parasitic efficiency under field conditions. In this study, we comprehensively assembled a high-quality chromosome-level genome of T. japonicum by Illumina short reads, PacBio CLR reads, and Hi-C data. The genome size was 213 Mb, with a N50 of 14,700,000 bp, and 94.51% of contigs were anchored to five chromosomes. 16,894 protein-coding genes were annotated and 43.89Mb repeat sequences were found in the genome assembly. Our results provide a molecular foundation and framework for elucidating the evolutionary mechanism and improving pest control effectiveness of T. japonicum.
