General Election Survey Belgium (GESN) is a survey on the attitudes, opinions and political and social behaviour of Belgians, carried out after the federal elections of 24 November 1991. The data collected make it possible to measure the respondents' political information and knowledge, their perceptions of political bodies such as parties and social problems. Other issues include party identification, partisan preferences, representations of political efficacy, and the nature and extent of political participation.
