"Matchmaker" The Wedding Memory, Game for Children and Adults

Playing “Matchmaker”, The Wedding Memory The memory game consists of portraits of grooms and brides, fictional (children’s and family movies) and “real life”, from different cultures, traditions, and religions, homosexual and heterosexual. During the memory game, the children have to match the couples. There is always something that clearly connects the grooms and brides as couples like e.g. the dresses, the flowers, the background color, the graphic style like black and white, painted, or photographed. The children play the memory in groups of four. After the game the children select the wedding couple they like most and explain why. A selection of wedding couples is presented in an additional document. Being a memory game and children liking it so much, students could use more time to play and discuss among themselves why these couples are matching.
