Plain text file containing the original ISSR presence–absence (1/0) matrix for 60 individuals of Polylepis incana and P. racemosa from six sympatric populations in Ponce Paluguillo, Ecuador. Each row corresponds to one individual. The first three columns contain sample metadata: unique ID, population code and species. All subsequent columns correspond to ISSR loci. Values are coded as 1 = band present and 0 = band absent. This file is the primary dataset from which the DARwin, GenAlEx and STRUCTURE input files were generated.
