Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired along the Aegir Ridge (extinct) Spreading Center in the Norwegian Sea during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9006 (1990)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9006 conducted in 1990 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Hank Fleming). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.0. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office Survey, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): N00014-89-J-1842.
