Limnoporus dissortis Transcriptome or Gene expression. Limnoporus dissortis

Limnoporus dissortis (Heteroptera, Gerromorpha) is a semi-aquatic insect also known as water striders. We have used this transcriptome data to study the forces that shape the evolution of adaptive traits in this group. In particular we have focused on the genes involved in legs development which are essential for locomotion on water surface.
