资源简介:
Paeonia lactiflora restored skeletal muscle function and mass in cancer-bearing mice, through the downregulations of muscular NF-kB signalling and muscle-specific E3 ubiquitin ligases. This study provides experimental evidence that Paeonia lactiflora can be a plausible candidate for a therapeutic agent for cancer cachexia. C57BL/6 mice (4 weeks old) were used to induce lung carcinoma by subcutaneous injection of 1 × 10^6 LLC cells in 100 μl of saline, and gastrocnemius muscle tissues were collected from the Normal and lung cancer mice model. RNA was extracted from the gastrocnemius muscle tissue of Normal mice, Control cancer-bearing mice and RP-treated cancer-bearing mice.
