资源简介:
This record presents a functional sample of a cascade impactor engineered for the separation and bounce analysis of aerosol particles. Operating at a nominal 10 l/min airflow, the device isolates particles into 10, 2.5, 1, and 0.5 μm fractions. To investigate particle bounce, each fraction utilizes two consecutive stages; the second features an adhesive coating to capture reflected particles. Internal nozzle geometry was optimized via precise thermodynamic gas expansion calculations. The hardware incorporates four quick-release toggle clamps for flexible configuration and an interchangeable critical orifice (1.2 mm), limiting flow to 9.85 l/min via sonic acceleration. This device provides a robust tool for evaluating particulate emissions.
