Housing Choice Voucher to Total Housing Availability

2022 Esri population data enriched to HUD Housing Choice Voucher layer that is currently using 2010 census tracts. The information within highlights the number of housing choice vouchers in each tracts, with an estimated availability of housing by type in each tract, by owner occupied, renter occupied, and vacant, giving a total of housing existing within each tract. This layer specifically color codes the percentage of vouchers in use by the total availability of housing. Intended to be used in conjunction with layers Renter to Owner Occupied Units, which highlights each tract as majority rental occupied or owner occupied, and Housing Choice Voucher to Rentals, which shows available vouchers in each tract and compares to rental community. This layer is intended to give a broader picture to the Housing Choice Voucher to Rentals, in which some areas highlighted as heavy voucher use actually have a very small rental community within that tract. The Renter to Owner Occupied Units layer, in turn, is intended to give perspective to this layer by showing if the tracts are majority rentals or owners.
