This study investigates the effects of dietary fiber on gut microbiome composition in a transgenic mouse model of Alzheimer's disease (5xFAD). Using 16S rRNA sequencing, we analyzed fecal microbiota from wild-type (WT) and 5xFAD mice fed either a high-fiber (HF) or low-fiber (LF) diet. The study aims to explore how dietary interventions modulate gut microbial diversity and composition, potentially influencing neuroinflammation and Alzheimer's disease pathology. These findings contribute to understanding the gut-brain axis and may have implications for dietary strategies in neurodegenerative disorders.
