The Bacillus subtilis strain VV2 is a rod shaped gram-positive bacteria which isolated from the fermented rice. To study the molecular activities including fibrinolytic enzymes in VV2 strain, we sequenced the complete genome sequence and annotated the protein coding genes. This strain was also positive for the production of protease, amylase and cellulases. It is a cell factory for the production of hydrolytic enzymes.
