NRS-16374 | Agenda and Papers [University of Newcastle - Academic Senate]

The series consists of copies of the agenda of all meetings of the Academic Senate, with copies of reports, correspondence and other papers placed before the Senate at these meetings. These are the copies of record kept by the Secretariat. Until the end of 1973 they are kept as bundles of papers, boxed, one bundle to each meeting; the papers of subsequent meetings are held in binders, each of which may cover the meetings of a year or longer, but it is still evident that these papers, too, were originally kept in individual bundles, bound with the same distinctive mauve tape. It is assumed that the set would once have been complete to the final meeting of the Senate in 1989, but at present the Agenda and Papers are only held for meetings to the end of 1986 (those for the first six meetings of 1973 are also missing).
