Clearing and the intense 2019-2020 wildfires damaged countless trees with hollows for wildlife. To help make up for these losses, Boonah and District Landcare is providing tube nests (artificial nests) to be installed for use by native wildlife. Monitoring and maintenance of the tube nests will increase their successful use by target species and provide useful, local information.
