MEBs targeted for this funding were identified based on load effectiveness, which is a measure of the ability of management practices implemented in each area (basin) to have a positive effect on dissolved oxygen in the Chesapeake Bay. Unless otherwise approved, implementation activities are expected to occur within these areas.</p>
