This dataset provides spatial distribution data of land use types in the municipal districts of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, in 2010. It is vector data with attribute fields including land code, land type, and other related fields. The secondary land use types are classified as follows: paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacier and snow land, tidal flat, beach land, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sand land, Gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Among these land use types, cultivated land (comprising paddy fields and dry lands) is further classified by geomorphology into four categories: those located in mountainous areas, hilly areas, plain areas, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The data scale is 1:100,000.
