This project aims to increase our understanding of the evolutionary mechanisms involved in the adaptation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae to anthropic environments. We produced genomic resources from 41 Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast strains including 33 domesticated strains isolated from fermentation processes (wine, cheese, bread, rhum & distillation) and 8 natural oak isolates. Using comparative genomics, we focused on (i) systematic detection of introgression and horizontal transfer events (ii) identification of candidate genes under positive selection in strains adapted to specific processes.
