Genome sequence project of Bacillus sp. TM2. Bacillus altitudinis

Bacillus sp. TM2 was isolated from a solution of Tetragnatha maxillosa ground in saline. TM2 is a high-concentration cesium-resistant bacterium that can grow in a medium in the presence of 800 mM cesium chloride. Here, we report the genome sequence of this bacterium, which may be the basis for research of this bacterium's cesium ion resistance mechanism.
