资源简介:
This study investigated the impact of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on peanut yield and soil microbiome in a field trial in Argentina. Three PGPR strains (Bacillus velezensis RI3, Bacillus velezensis SC6, and Pseudomonas psychrophila PSE10) were applied to a commercial peanut cultivar, ASEM-400 INTA, in a randomized complete block design. The study aimed to assess the effects of PGPR on peanut yield components, soil enzyme activity, microbial biomass, and rhizosphere microbiome diversity using metagenomics. Results showed that PGPR application did significantly increased the peanut yield compared to the control. Soil enzyme activity, microbial biomass, and rhizosphere microbiome diversity were altered by PGPR application, indicating changes in soil microbial communities. These findings provide insights into the potential of PGPR to enhance crop yield and soil health in peanut production systems.
