The Faculty meetings of the Wagga Wagga Teachers' College were attended by the heads of the various departments, the principal and the registrar. This forum was created by the principal to complement the Staff meetings, as he believed that a smaller body constituting solely the heads of departments, would formulate and carry out decisions of policy in a better manner than the Staff meetings would. Also, there were certain sensitive areas and topics which would be better discussed at Faculty meetings, where firm stances on policy could be devised, before they progressed to the larger Staff meetings.Topics of discussion included lecture programs, annual reports, examinations and assignments, and misconduct (primarily those cases related to academic misconduct such as plagiarism).
