The low phosphorus (P) use efficiency in the consecutive monoculture field of peanut is a major production constraint. Rhizosphere bacterial communities are generally thought to play an important role in P cycle of terrestrial ecosystem. The role of interaction between plant and root endophyte in regulate rhizosphere P cycling functional microbial communities remain unclear. Here, we quantified the impacts of B3-induced changes in root exudate chemistry on the optimization of phoD harboring bacterial communities.
