This dataset contains Mg, Zn, Fe, Cu isotopic data, major and trace element data, as well as Sr-Nd isotopic data for Cenozoic basalts in Northeast China, providing critical evidence for investigating the deep carbon cycle process triggered by Western Pacific subduction and its associated effects. The isotopic data were measured at the Isotope Laboratory of China University of Geosciences (Beijing). Each sample was tested three times repeatedly, and mass discrimination correction was conducted using the sample-standard bracketing method and internal standard method, with errors reported as 2sd. The major and trace element data were acquired from the Element Geochemistry Laboratory of China University of Geosciences (Beijing), and corrections were performed via the internal standard method. The dataset is of high data quality: the measured values of the international reference materials BHVO-2 and BCR-2 are consistent with the literature-recommended values within the error margins. These data demonstrate that recycled carbonates exist in the mantle transition zone beneath Northeast China, and these carbonates can oxidize mantle iron, promoting an increase in oxygen fugacity and the dissolution of sulfides, revealing that deep carbon cycling can facilitate the oxygen-sulfur cycle.
