A Drosophila melanogaster model of urolithiasis was supplemented with a microbial therapeutic to assess its efficacy in mitigating stone formation. Whole flies were sequenced with 16S rRNA gene sequencing to assess the affect of the therapy on the indigenous fly microbiota.
