10 week old male C57BL/6J mice were used. Using a 33G pst3 syringe, a mixture of autologous blood and heparinized saline was stereotactically injected. At 4wks post stereotactic injection, mice were euthanized and brains were embedded in optimal cutting temperature compound prior to sectioning on a CM3050 S cryostat.
