In present study, latitude, slope positions, and their interaction influencing the FGs and enzymes were systematically analyzed from various aspects in the Mollisols belt of Northeast China (42°47′N-48°9′N). The main findings were that, when latitude and slope positions were considered together, the combined use of full subset multiple regression, variance decomposition, two-way analysis of variance, and extreme gradient boosting machine learning showed that their interactions had a strong effect on soil C, N and P enzymes activities and corresponding FGs. This dataset mainly includes the abundance of functional genes related to soil carbon degradation, carbon fixation, nitrogen cycling, and phosphorus cycling.
