The MPOS dataset was jointly developed by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and West China Hospital of Sichuan University, with the goal of supporting multi-modal image synthesis research for ophthalmic diseases. This dataset includes 600 pairs of color fundus photographs (CFP) and fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) images, covering five distinct categories of fundus diseases. The dataset creation workflow covers image acquisition, pairing and annotation, which ensures the high quality and diversity of the data. The main application scenarios of the MPOS dataset focus on synthesizing FFA images via non-invasive methods, so as to improve the diagnostic accuracy of ophthalmic diseases and enhance patient safety.
