The objective of this study was to develop an accessible, standardized mouse-based task for home-based assessment of motor variability characteristics. Two protocols were conducted to that end: the firts one compared the mouse-based task to a well-established forcesensor lab task, and, the second protocol assessed the mouse-based task across various computer setupsVariables such as standard deviation, fuzzy entropy and detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA) were used to assess motor variability.
