Neocinnamomum caudatum Raw sequence reads

Neocinnamomum caudatum (Nees) Merr., an biodiesel tree species in the subtropical areas of East Asia, is distinctive for its abundance of linoleic acid and stearic acid in the seeds among species in the family Lauraceae. However, there is little genetic information about this species so far. To understand the genes and pathways that related to the fatty acid formation and oil biosynthesis, the transcriptome of N. caudatum developing seeds were sequenced and characterized.
