BioFors是由南加州大学信息科学研究所创建的第一个大型生物医学图像取证数据集，包含47,805张从1,031篇开放获取的研究论文中提取的图像。数据集分为四个类别：显微镜图像、印迹/凝胶图像、流式细胞术图像和宏观图像。数据集旨在解决生物医学研究中的图像操纵问题，通过提供真实世界的操纵样本，支持三种取证分析任务：外部复制检测、内部复制检测和切割/尖锐过渡检测。BioFors的目的是推动生物医学图像取证研究，帮助审查人员识别研究文档中的操纵图像。
BioFors is the first large-scale biomedical image forensics dataset developed by the Information Sciences Institute of the University of Southern California. It contains 47,805 images extracted from 1,031 open-access research papers. The dataset is categorized into four groups: microscopy images, blot/gel images, flow cytometry images, and macroscopic images. Designed to tackle the problem of image manipulation in biomedical research, BioFors provides real-world manipulated samples to support three forensics analysis tasks: external copy detection, internal copy detection, and cut/sharp transition detection. The ultimate goal of BioFors is to advance biomedical image forensics research and assist reviewers in identifying manipulated images in research documents.
