资源简介:
Peritonitis is an inflammation of the peritoneum that is mainly caused by gut perforation-associated bacterial leakage, which is known to trigger sepsis. Although adipose tissue has been well recognized as an important part of the immune system, the involvement of adipose tissue innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) in regulating peritonitis remains poorly understood. The goal of this project is to understand the involvement of ILCs and their interaction with other immune cells during acute peritonitis in the mesenteric adipose tissue (MAT). The CITE-seq data were obtained from the MAT of a murine peritonitis model induced by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) at 6 hrs after CLP, and from sham-operated mice. This study might serve as a promising therapeutic target for sepsis in clinical settings.
