In this experiment, the effect of reduced CDX2 expression on the trophoblast stem cells (TSCs) transcriptome was assayed. Transcriptional profiles were generated from three independent biological replicates in four experimental conditions. shRNA vectors containing a constitutively active mCherry cassette to visualise and isolate transfected and non-transfected populations. Positively transfected CDX2 knockdown TSCs were compared with control transfected and untransfected TSC populations.
