<p>In order to understand the difference in LiDAR intensity for various types of pavement markings, a mobile-mapping LiDAR data collection (more info on LiDAR vehicles can be found at: https://doi.org/10.3390/rs12091379) was conducted along I-74 in western Indiana. This data collection involved 73-miles of interstate in the westbound direction of travel. The pavement markings between mile marker 0 and 16 are preformed thermoplastic tape, correlating to a very high LiDAR intensity. The attached data contains an arbitrary ObjectID, location data (X,Y,Z and converted Lat/Long) and Intensity. These data points only include those outlined by a filtering algorithm as the "skip line" markings. Other data sets were generated for the left and right edge lines, but were not considered as a part of this study for continuity.
