Group C and G Streptococci are becoming an increasing burden of disease and genomic epidemiology of GCS and GGS bacteremia, including the distribution of sequence types, virulence factor genes, and antimicrobial resistance factors were examined using whole genome sequencing of invasive and non-invasive isolates to uncover factors that may contribute to their increased pathogenesis.
