Chronic Wasting Disease Participating Meat Processors and Taxidermists - 2025 - CDFW [ds3155]

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) conducts surveillance for Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) in deer, elk, and other cervids to monitor and manage its presence within the state's wildlife populations since 1999. Participating Meat Processors are locations hunters can visit to have their harvest tested and/or their harvest processed. Hunters should use this map to coordinate a good time and location they should drop off or have their sample taken to be tested. The following are Meat Processors and Taxidermists that will be set up during the 2025 season and are subject to change year to year and for other unpermitted circumstances.
