This dataset is sourced from natural water source fire patrol map data of Gongshu District, Hangzhou City, providing multi-dimensional basic data to assist command and dispatch officers in decision-making. It analyzes the water intake modes of fire trucks at designated locations, including whether the fire truck can access water and whether the water pump can draw water, to accurately guide the selection of the optimal water pumping strategy, maximize the utilization of natural resources, and enhance emergency water supply efficiency.
(1) Data Collection: The natural water source patrol data of Gongshu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province is integrated via manual collection and external data entry, covering items such as water source name, water source address, water source longitude, water source latitude, water source status, available water volume, parking space width, water surface drop, patrol address, patrol longitude, and patrol latitude.
(2) Data Processing: The collected natural water source patrol point data undergoes standardized processing, and the water intake modes of fire trucks at designated locations are analyzed. The criterion for judging whether a fire truck can access water is based on the width of fire trucks under the jurisdiction and the width of the parking space. The criterion for judging whether a water pump can draw water requires calculating the total head and comparing it with the pump head. The total head equals the water surface drop plus friction loss (which can be ignored in most cases), where the pump head refers to the maximum height that the water pump can lift water, and this data is usually provided by the manufacturer.
(3) Application Scenarios: By integrating the natural water source fire patrol map data of Gongshu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, during actual fire fighting and rescue operations, the optimal surrounding natural water source solutions can be instantly mapped out and intuitively presented to frontline fire commanders and rescue teams via high-definition dynamic maps. With the aid of advanced algorithm models, the performance parameters of fire pumps are scientifically matched to accurately guide the selection of the most suitable water pumping strategy, maximize the utilization of natural resources, and improve emergency water supply efficiency.
