Comparative Transcriptome analysis and identification of genes associated with early fruit development in eggplant (Solanum melongena L.)

This study provides new insights into the molecular mechanisms regulating fruit development in eggplant, and the genes identified may be used in breeding programs to produce new varieties with different fruit shapes.
