Transcripts and miRNA of hepatocyte treated with a mono-ADP ribosyltransferase cytotoxin Cholix toxin

The intestinal pathogen Vibrio cholerae-produced Cholix toxin (Cholix) is a member of the family of mono-ADP ribosyltransferase cytotoxins. In this study, we conducted RNAseq of human hepatocyte treated with Cholix (wild-type and its catalytically inactivated mutant) in the presence or absence of desipramine, an exosome inhibitor. In addition, the exosomes were collected from hepatocytes treated with Cholix, followed by analysis of miRNAs in the exosomes.
