资源简介:
This dataset integrates climate, intervention, socioeconomic, and epidemiological variables into a unified time-series format for malaria forecasting in Uganda. Near-surface air temperature (tas) and precipitation (pr) were included as primary climatic drivers of malaria transmission, while intervention coverage was represented by insecticide-treated nets (ITN) per 100 malaria cases and indoor residual spraying (IRS) per 100 households. Malaria incidence was normalized as cases per thousand population to ensure comparability across regions and years. Socioeconomic indicators (GDP, undernourishment, demographic statistics) were harmonized and imputed to address missing values, preserving statistical power and reducing bias. Climatic data were sourced from the World Bank Climate Change Knowledge Portal, socioeconomic indicators from the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), and malaria-related variables from the Malaria Atlas Project. The preprocessing ensured consistency, minimized noise, ffff and aligned with methodological standards for robust ARIMAXX modeling, enabling forecasts that account for climate variability, intervention coverage, and socioeconomic determinants of malaria incidence.kkkk
