Cell-type specific nuclear RNA sequencing analysis of adult neurogensis-ablated mice. Mus musculus

In the adult mannmalian brain, new neurons are continuously generated by the neural stem cells. We isorated varioul cell types of the adult neurogeneis-ablated mice and their control mice with FACS. The nuclear RNA samples of the hippocampus and olfactory bulb derived from these mice were subjected to NGS analyses to analyze the gene expression profiles of various neural cell types in the absence of newly generated neurons.
