Simplified sequencing of Bighead carp (a primary freshwater aquaculture species in China)

This study leveraged RAD-seq technology to perform a comprehensive population genetic analysis of 157 H. nobilis individuals, comprising 13 populations from the Yangtze River and one population from the Marseilles Reach of the Illinois River. This research contributes to the understanding of H. nobilis genetics, offering insights essential for developing informed conservation strategies and enhancing genetic management practices for sustainable aquaculture and biodiversity conservation.
