Wind turbines

This data set contains data and locations of wind turbines subject to approval in Schleswig-Holstein. Further information on [Windenergie](https://www.schleswig-holstein.de/DE/landesregierung/themen/energie/windenergie/windenergie_node.html) can be found on the state portal.

## Notes on the publication of wind data Schleswig-Holstein

The wind data are updated every six months.

The basis for the presentation is the data to be submitted to the State Office for the Environment of the State of Schleswig-Holstein within the framework of the necessary approval procedure on the basis of the Federal Immission Control Act.

The table distinguishes between plants and their possible services, which

- are already in operation
- already approved but not yet put into operation
- are still in the approval process.

It should be noted that the number of installations differs considerably from other surveys, in particular nationwide surveys. According to our opinion, this is due to the fact that dismantling and repowering rates can only be insufficiently taken into account in nationwide surveys.

## Structure of the file

The following columns are included:

- 'circle' - name of the district in whose territory the installation is located
- 'Municipality' - Name of the municipality in whose territory the installation is located
- 'Type' - Designation of the type of installation
- 'Manufacturer' - Manufacturer
- 'hub height' - hub height in metres - decimal separator is comma, in the case of approved installations text may be included
- 'Rotor diameter' - Rotor diameter in metres - decimal separator is comma, in the case of approved installations text may be included
- 'Sound power level' - no guarantee for the accuracy of the data, they are approved values, field contains in addition to the number also the unit text
- 'Performance' - Performance indication of the installation (decimal separator is point)
- 'Reference to benefits' - Unit and unit reference to the number of benefits
- 'Eastern value' - Eastern value or legal value of geographical position
- 'North value' - North value or high value of geographical position
- 'Approval date' - Date of approval
- 'Commissioning' - Date of commissioning
- 'Status' - Status of the indication. The following values are possible: `in operation`, `before putting into service`, `in gen.Verf.` = in the approval procedure
- 'BST_No' - Identification
- 'Ann_Nr' - Identification information
- 'ACT SIGNS' - Identification information
- 'Data date' - in the format 'dd/mm/yyyy'
- 'Data source'

The coordinate reference system (CRS) is EPSG:25832.
