资源简介:
The Solar Ultraviolet Measurements of Emitted Radiation (SUMER) is a UV telescope and spectrometer that was designed and built at the Max-Planck-Institut fur Aeronomie (MPAe) with international cooperation from 1987 to 1995. It is now an instrument on-board the ESA/NASA spacecraft SOHO, which was launched on 02 Dec 1995. Since the beginning of 1996, SUMER has successfully observed the Sun at a distance approximately 1.5 million kilometers from Earth and delivered research data about the solar atmosphere that are analyzed and archived at MPAe and other institutions. The SUMER experiment is designed for the investigation of - plasma flow characteristics, turbulence and wave motions; - plasma densities and temperatures; - structures and events associated with solar magnetic activity in the chromosphere, the transition zone and the corona. Specifically, SUMER: - measure profiles and intensities of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lines emitted in the solar atmosphere ranging from the upper chromosphere to the lower corona; - determine line broadenings, spectral positions and Doppler shifts with high precision and accuracy; - provide stigmatic images of selected areas of the Sun in the EUV with high spatial, temporal and spectral resolution and - obtain full images of the Sun and the inner corona in selectable EUV lines, corresponding to a temperature range from 10 000 to 2 000 000 K. All SOHO/SUMER data are available from the public SOHO data archive: http://www.mps.mpg.de/projects/soho/sumer/ Mirror archives are available at: SOHO Archive at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, UK.: http://trace.solararchive.rl.ac.uk/soho/ SOHO Archive at the Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale, France: http://idc-medoc.ias.u-psud.fr/ SOHO Archive at Osservatorio Astronomico di Torino, Torino, Italy: http://solar.to.astro.it/
