Data about Visuo-tactile and topographic characterizations of finished surface quality of oak and beech wood surfaces by French consumers and industrials: acceptability thresholds for raised grain

Excel file containing the raw data of a paper published in Annals of Forest Science Journal intitled «<strong>Visuo-tactile and topographic characterizations of finished surface quality of oak and beech wood surfaces by French consumers and industrials: acceptability thresholds for raised grain</strong>». Data concern topographical parameters (roughness and waviness parameters) measured on varnished surfaces (with one coat and two coats) of oak and beech woods. These data were correlated with the visuo-tactile perceptions of raised grain which occurs on these varnished surfaces (with one coat), and the visuo-tactile preferences of finished surface quality by industrials and consumers.
