Investigating RNA Oxidation in Human Lung Cells (BEAS-2B)

The goal of this study was to detect the accumulation of 8-oxoG RNA modifications in a human lung cell model (BEAS-2B) exposed to a variety of environmental stress sources (500 ug/mL NIST Urban Particulate Matter (PM) (SRM 1648a), 500 uM formaldehyde (FA), 100 uM H2O2 (H2O2), and unstressed control (Ctrl)) for 20 minutes. RNA was extracted from each sample and subjected to the ChLoRox-Seq protocol outlined in (Insert DOI here).
