Dissolved Organic Carbon concentrations and isotopes in Mexican lakes and aquifers

Concentrations and isotope compositions of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) measured in Mexican lake waters and the aquifers feeding them. The lakes are alkaline volcanic crater lakes located in central Mexico, within the Trans-Mexican-Volcanic-Belt (TMVB). They are redox-stratified and dominated by a microbial biodivertisy, leading to the formation of microbialite sedimentary deposits. The data were acquired by Robin Havas in his PhD Project in Biogéosciences under the advisement of Christophe Thomazo, within the Microbialites ANR.
