Data and Code for: Climate–Fire Relationships Across Global Mountain Systems: A Six-Continent Analysis
收藏资源简介:
Datasets and Google Earth Engine code for analyzing climate–fire relationships across six global mountain systems. Contents: Processed panel datasets (6 CSV files) containing 229,178 pixel-year observations of fire severity (dNBR), climate variables (ERA5-Land), and topographic covariates (SRTM) for six mountain regions: Central Himalaya, Central Rockies, Central Andes, Western Alps, East African Highlands, and Australian Alps (2013–2023) Google Earth Engine JavaScript code for data generation and processing README with complete variable descriptions and usage instructions Methods: Fire severity was quantified using differenced Normalized Burn Ratio (dNBR) calculated from Landsat 8/9 imagery with harmonic phenological baselines. Panel structure enables fixed-effects regression controlling for time-invariant spatial characteristics. Associated manuscript: Precipitation reverses fire severity relationships across global mountain fire regimes
