The Chloroplast Genome Information Resource (CGIR) is a specialized chloroplast genome database dedicated to the integration, annotation, and standardization of chloroplast genomes, genes, simple sequence repeats (SSRs), and DNA signature sequences (DSSs). To date, this database has curated 42,784 chloroplast genomes spanning 19,950 species, and provides data resources including genomes, genes, SSRs, DSSs, and barcodes.
