MODERN APPROACHES TO ENHANCING THE LEXICAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS

This article analyzes modern approaches to improving the lexical competence of future English language teachers. Lexical competence plays an important role in the professional preparation of teachers, as it directly affects the effectiveness of lessons, the development of students’ speech activity, and the enrichment of vocabulary in the learning process. The article discusses effective ways of developing lexical knowledge through communicative approaches, task-based learning, and integrated teaching methods.
